Waves here are good with solid swells and north-easterly winds but beware of strong rips, submerged outcrops, unpredictable currents and powerful waves, so best left to the more experienced surfer.

If you’re planning to visit, check out the tide times to make sure you’ve plenty of beach to play on and that you don’t get cut off by the incoming tide!

In Dale or there’s a car park by an old airfield on the road to St Anne’s lighthouse.
