Broad Haven provides an ideal location for a traditional seaside holiday with a huge sandy beach (at low tide) with safe bathing.
Its a great base for exploring as conveniently located for visits to St Davids and the North Pembrokeshire coastline as well as Haverfordwest and Milford Haven to the south.
Broad Haven is on the route of the Puffin Shuttle, service number 400 and links the whole of the St Brides bay coastline from St Davids to Martins Haven.
Little is known of the origins of the village but it has been known as a seaside resort since the 1800s.
An RNLI lifeboat was stationed at Little Haven from 1882 to 1921. In 1967 the station was reopened with an inshore lifeboat and the station name changed to Little & Broad Haven.
Broad Haven
